- I believe that the care of children is one of the greatest responsibilities and I believe my experience has prepared me for such an opportunity. I have owned and operated two in home daycares that were State licensed as well as assisted in the direction of Kiddy Kingdom daycare center in Council Bluffs Iowa. I have also been a Children’s Ministry Director in Ottumwa Iowa and Burlington Iowa. These positions have given me the opportunities to not only interact with the children and their parents, but to also work on the administrative and business side of childcare. I have developed handbooks, curriculums, ordered supplies, as well as written grant proposals, marketing development, and handled publicity. Working with the church has also given me the opportunity to recruit, train, oversee and retain volunteers and staff.
